Barnabas by RECK69 Barnabas by RECK69
This is my interpretation of Dark Shadows' character Barnabas, played by Johnny Depp. I have a realistic style, so it may not be the most "creative" but I gave it my all.

I used Pentalic* drawing pencils in BH, B, 2B, 4B, and 6B. The whole thing took about 5 days of non stop drawing.

If it weren't for his hair, I would have thought this was a legitimate photograph! Great job!

This is really awesome! It's horribly depressing how traditional art is brushed under the rug so much nowadays. :/

Actually I don't have photo shop so thanks.....Why don't you work on your own art skills before ragging on someone elses, you should be ashamed of yourself...

I hope this wins. Even though it's not the most original, it is the most emotive and the most skilled piece I've come across thus far. I wish there weren't so much jpeg compression so that I could see how you made the eyes so photorealistic, but at the same time, I wouldn't want you to submit anything too high rez if you are worried about theft.
